Azure infrastructure
Exploring networking, compute, storage, and identity through an organization with regional operations and distinct client requirements.
Sports • Community • Technology
DMV Sports Life brings a regional sports organization to life as a hands-on cloud infrastructure portfolio—connecting business ideas, technical decisions, and the work behind them.
About DMVSL
DMV Sports Life is an independent portfolio project created by Earl Jordan. It models a sports and community organization spanning Washington, Baltimore, and Richmond, with fictional clients and events that give each infrastructure decision a purpose.
The goal is to connect learning with engineering: define what an organization needs, establish standards, build reusable infrastructure, and document why the pieces fit together.
DMVSL is a simulated business environment for technical development. The featured organizations and events are portfolio scenarios, not commercial client engagements.
Inside the portfolio
An evolving body of work grounded in three connected disciplines.
Exploring networking, compute, storage, and identity through an organization with regional operations and distinct client requirements.
Building modules and repeatable configurations that translate infrastructure standards into code, with GitHub providing a home for the work and its history.
Connecting naming conventions, resource ownership, module standards, and architecture choices through a living governance guide.
Our regional footprint
Washington, Baltimore, and Richmond provide the setting for DMVSL’s client scenarios and regional infrastructure planning.

Behind the portfolio
My background spans enterprise print infrastructure, Windows Server, and IT support. DMVSL is where I bring that operational experience into cloud engineering—building, studying, and refining an environment with a consistent business story.
This portfolio grows alongside my skills. Follow the code on GitHub or connect with me on LinkedIn to learn more about the person behind the project.
